Curriculum
We follow the curriculum set by Ontario's Ministry of Education and enrich it in a variety of ways.
In the Kindergarten (age 3 to 7), the children learn Literature, Poetry, Dramatization, Phonics, Reading, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Nature Studies, Christianity, French, Music, Art and Physical Education. The curriculum "feeds" the growing child.
Education is learning and understanding.
Education is learning to care for things.
Education is learning to make the right decisions.
Education is learning to take responsibility,
And that is a Froebel Education.
In the School (grade 3 to 8), the Curriculum of the Ministry of Education is enriched with Arts (visual, drama, vocal and instrumental), French, Technology, Guidance, Family Studies, Design Technology and leadership training.
My education at Froebel is inspiring in every subject, and teaches me a lot.
Although our curriculum may be similar to that of other kindergartens and schools, it is our methodology that truly sets us apart.
